In our sermon today, we recount Jesus’ first miracle found in John 2:1-11 – the changing of water into wine at a wedding at Cana. Unlike other Miracles, this was done quietly and discreetly without any fanfare. The water Jesus used was for purification and Jesus replaced it with pure wine which symbolizes his spotless blood that washes away our sins daily.
