In today’s sermon, we explore the often-overlooked story of Miriam, the sister of Moses. As a young girl, Miriam displayed bravery and played a significant role in ensuring her brother’s safety. She was a woman of faith and courage who lead the Israelite women in praise and worship following their miraculous crossing of the Red Sea. Miriam, however, was not without flaws, and we can learn much from her mistakes. After voicing complaints about Moses and his wife, Miriam was stricken with leprosy. She repented and God healed her of her ailment.
